Rules and voting
Listen first. Decide second.
Battle 001 opens August 28 at 7:00 PM Pacific. The community then has exactly 72 hours to listen, vote and make an optional AI prediction.
Return when voting opens
At 7:00 PM Pacific on August 28, play at least 15 seconds of each 45-second excerpt to complete the official listening requirement and unlock your ballot.
Vote for the winner
Choose the song you believe is better. The winner vote is final, and only one ballot is accepted per device for each battle.
Predict separately
You may also guess which song was made by AI. This optional prediction never adds to, subtracts from or changes your winner vote.
Beat the deadline
Voting closes August 31 at 7:00 PM Pacific—72 hours after it opens. Ballots submitted after the deadline are not accepted.
Eligible votes are reviewed
Automated, duplicate or manipulated activity may be removed. The song with the higher eligible vote total wins; an exact tie is reported as a tie.
Watch the official reveal
On September 1 at 7:00 PM Pacific, we reveal the winner, which song was made by the Artist, which was made by AI, creator credits, percentages, total eligible votes and AI-prediction accuracy.
